Our approved and highly experienced drivers will show you the monuments and the most important places of interest including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, begun in 1296 by Arnolfo Di Camdio and terminated in 1436, better known as the Cathedral of Florence, the Baptistery with its famous Door of Paradise made by Ghiberti, the Bell Tower of Giotto by the artist of the same name, “Palazzo della Signoria” and the Vasarian Corridor which crosses the Ponte Vecchio with its goldsmith shops and which terminates at the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens situated internally. The tour will continue along the luxurious Via Tornabuoni displaying the most elegant boutiques of the very well-known Italian brand names. We will visit the Church of Santa Croce with the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Rossini and Macchiavelli. Around the area of the central railway station you will be able to admire the Church of Santa Maria Novella and the Medici Chapels in San Lorenzo. We will then go onto the characteristic quarter of San Frediano considered the heart of the city, with her craftsmen shops and typical taverns, where, if you wish, you may lunch over an excellent T-bone steak and glass of red wine.
We will also have time to admire Fiesole, an ancient Etruscan town with an amphitheatre and museum where you will have a panoramic view of the whole city of Florence below, which has no match in all the world.
