SIENA, SAN GIMIGNANO AND CHIANTI LIMOUSINE SERVICE

The tour will begin from Siena, where our drivers have a special limited traffic zone access permit to enter in this beautiful city and guide you directly around the most important sites: the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption or more simply the Cathedral considered by many an unrivaled architectural masterpiece. From there we will visit the Cathedral museum and the Baptistery ending up at “Piazza del Campo”, famous all over the world for its beauty and the “Palio”. The “palio” of Siena is a competition of medieval origin between the city districts, where the 17 city districts challenge each other in a passionate horse race.
The visit to Siena will end at the Basilica of Saint Dominic which was built over the period 1226-1265, and where the skull of Saint Catherine, who was born in Siena, is kept in custody.
The tour will continue onto San Gimignano declared a World Heritage by UNESCO.
Here you will be spellbound by the magnificent and numerous towers within the city, once a symbol of prosperity and wealth. You will visit the Cathedral of San Gimignano with its almost totally frescoed inner walls and the Civic Museum. You will be able to taste the delicious local white wine called “Vernaccia” of San Gimignano. The tour will end, for those who wish, on a farm immersed among the gentle hills of Chianti with tastings of wine, extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar accompanied by typical local products such as ham, finocchiona, sheep’s milk cheese and bruschetta.
